Banking & Finance Law
Our Banking and Finance law section has broad experience in the field of commercial lending, including representing lenders, borrowers, participants and other parties. We are well versed in complex and sophisticated financing matters involving asset based loans, real estate financing, public and private bond issues, agricultural financing, swap transactions, lease financing and participation. Our team is also very efficient in handling smaller and less complex loan transactions in a manner that adds value to our clients. Our level of expertise ranges from handling financing transactions of less than one hundred thousand dollars to those involving hundreds of millions of dollars.
Our banking and finance attorneys have extensive experience representing government and private agencies as issuers of revenue bonds and general obligation bonds for financing capital projects. We also routinely represent lenders and borrowers related to bond issues.
In addition to “front end” work, our firm’s financial lawyers advise clients on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights issues. We represent many creditors and debtors in connection with bankruptcy cases. We also negotiate and document workouts and debt restructuring for lenders and borrowers both inside and outside of bankruptcy.
